I am now taking a Chinese Language Class. The class is every day from 8am to 10am. Every Friday there is a test, so the class is about 30-45 minutes longer. There are 4 other students in the class who are from Russia. One of them can speak English VERY well and the others know how to say some simple sentences to communicate with me. I havegotten to know them quite well and they are extremely nice. Also, they are very interested in American music, history, fashion and lifestyle. The girls have told me that they, like many girls in the US, LOVE Gossip Girl and Pretty Little Liars (TV shows).

Thursday was my first day of class and it was HARD. Not just hard, but VERY HARD. The other students had started class on Monday; so, I was a few days behind everyone else. I had ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what sounds the professor was making and the words were very hard to pronounce. EVERYTHING SOUNDS THE SAME!! After the first class, I decided that Chinese would definitely be the most difficult class I have ever taken.
