28 Hour Trip & Only 1 Delay

ITH --> EWR --> PEK --> WEH | Talk about a LONG trip!

I arrived in Weihai last night around 10pm (China Time). Michelle, one of RIT Weihai's faculty, picked me up from the airport. Together, we took a taxi to the RIT campus, which is approximately 45 minutes away from the airport. Before picking me up, Michelle had gone to the supermarket to buy some things for me to have in my dorm (shower products, toiletries, water, etc.). This was EXTREMELY KIND & VERY HELPFUL!

When we arrived to the campus, it was quite dark so it was hard to see much more than a bunch of tall buildings. The campus is bigger than I expected; however, it is considered a small campus compared to other universities in China.

The three dorm buildings are very nice. One of the dorms is for women and another for men. I believe the third building is not fully constructed. There are security guards in the building at all hours. My room is very spacious and I have a big bed all for myself! The bathrooms here are very different than what I am used to in the US. Below are pictures of my dorm.

I do not start work today until 2pm. I will be sure to take lots of pictures of the campus so I can share later on.
